One of the best things about working at [Company] is the closeness we get to experience with our coworkers. Being able to be there for each other is one of the greatest perks of our workplace, and it is our stance that we could only strengthen as a team and as people by receiving mental health training to help aid ourselves and our coworkers.

There are lots of programs out there that provide workplaces with the tools they need to help themselves and coworkers through mental health crises while also teaching them to be proactive about taking care of their mental health. Regardless of which one [Company] decides to go with, mental health training is integral to creating and nurturing an inclusive workplace and promotes a culture of wellbeing among employees. Ultimately, this will make us as [Company] employees healthier, happier, and more productive at work.

We are requesting that management:

  • Research mental health trainings to learn the benefits of such training.
  • Reach out to employees, either directly or via survey, to learn about their workplace mental health experiences and needs.
  • Select a training program within 4 weeks and begin trainings within 6 weeks.
  • Respond to this notice within 5 business days.
